This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and your rights.

    Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry or communicate with us, we may collect:

    • Your name, email address and telephone number.
    • Details of the gig or event, including dates, venues and booking requirements.
    • Information you include in your messages and subsequent correspondence.
    • Booking, invoicing and payment records if a booking goes ahead.

Please only include personal information that is relevant to your enquiry.

Our website and hosting providers may also process technical information, such as your IP address and browser information, to deliver the website and protect it from misuse.

If you consent to Google Analytics or embedded Facebook content, additional information may be collected as explained below.

    How we use your information

    We use your information to:

    • Respond to enquiries and discuss availability, fees and event requirements.
    • Arrange and manage bookings.
    • Communicate about performances and any changes to arrangements.
    • Maintain relevant business and financial records.
    • Protect our website, prevent misuse and resolve complaints or disputes.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails or text messages.

    Our lawful bases

Enquiries and bookings made by individuals: Where you are booking personally, we use information as necessary to take steps you request before entering into a contract and to fulfil any resulting contract.

Enquiries on behalf of organisations: Where you represent a venue, promoter, company or another organisation, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and arranging and managing performances.

Business administration and security: We rely on our legitimate interests to maintain appropriate correspondence, protect our systems and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We consider your rights and reasonable expectations when relying on legitimate interests.

Legal obligations: We retain and use certain information where necessary to comply with legal requirements, including applicable tax and accounting obligations.

Optional analytics and embedded content: We rely on your consent for the optional tracking described in this policy.

You do not have to submit an enquiry, but we need sufficient contact and event information to respond and arrange a booking.

    Who we share information with

Your information may be accessed by members of BuBounce and its management where necessary to handle your enquiry or booking.

We also use service providers to operate the website and manage enquiries:

    • Stone Signal Digital, which provides website and technical support.
    • HighLevel, which hosts our website and stores contact details, form submissions and gig enquiry records.
    • Google Gmail, which we use to receive and manage email correspondence.
    • Google Analytics, which processes website usage information when you consent to analytics.
    • Meta, which receives information when you consent to loading the embedded Facebook video.

Service providers may use other providers to deliver their services. Access to enquiry and booking information is limited to what is needed for the relevant purpose.

We may also share information with professional advisers or public authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations or deal with legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information.

    International transfers

Some of our providers process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States.

Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for these transfers, we rely on applicable UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

You can contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to your information and how to obtain a copy.

    How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

For enquiries that do not lead to a booking, we consider whether discussions are ongoing, whether further correspondence is reasonably expected and whether information is needed to resolve an outstanding issue.

For confirmed bookings, we consider the time needed to organise and complete the performance, meet applicable accounting and tax requirements, and deal with complaints or potential legal claims.

We review retained information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

For analytics information, we consider how long it remains useful for understanding and improving the website and apply the retention controls available in Google Analytics. Cookie lifetimes are explained in our cookie settings; these may differ from how long information collected using cookies is retained.

    Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Websites may also use similar technologies to store or access information.

We use necessary technologies to support website operation, security and your privacy choices. Optional analytics and embedded Facebook content are controlled through your consent preferences.

    Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our website and to improve its content and performance.

This may include information about pages visited, interactions, referring websites, approximate location, browser and device type. Cookies and similar identifiers may be used to distinguish visits and understand activity over time.

We do not send the name, email address, telephone number or message entered in our enquiry form to Google Analytics.

Read more about how Google handles information in Google’s Privacy Policy.

    Embedded Facebook video

Our website includes video content hosted by Facebook, a Meta service. We ask for your consent before loading the embedded player.

When the player loads, your browser connects to Meta. Meta may receive information about your device, your visit and your interaction with the video, and may use cookies or similar technologies. If you are signed into Facebook, Meta may be able to associate this activity with your account.

Meta’s handling of this information is explained in Meta’s Privacy Policy.

If you decline this content, the embedded video will remain unavailable, but you can still browse the website and submit an enquiry.

    Your cookie choices

You can accept or reject optional technologies through our cookie controls and change your preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link.

Our cookie settings provide details of the technologies used, their providers, purposes and lifetimes.

Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking controlled by those settings. It does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew consent.

You can also delete existing cookies through your browser settings.

    Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to:

    • Request access to your personal information.
    • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
    • Ask us to delete information.
    • Ask us to restrict how information is used.
    • Receive certain information in a portable format.

Your right to object: You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests, based on your particular circumstances. You also have an absolute right to object to the use of your information for direct marketing.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. For website analytics and embedded content, use Cookie Settings.

To exercise your rights, email bubounce.entertainment@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

    Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your information, please contact Jamie Pomfrey using the details above.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office:

Contact the ICO or make a complaint.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our website, services or use of personal information. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date.

We use cookies for analytics and embedded video. See our Privacy Policy.
